Huntsville, AL| Young Harris faced off against the Chargers on Sunday (Feb. 18) afternoon, in a tight match throughout the first half, where YHC only trailed by one at the half. The third period got away from the Mountain Lions, surrendering eight goals, and only scoring once, to fall behind by nine goals. YHC fought back in the fourth, but their comeback efforts were not enough, and they eventually fell to the Chargers, 21-9.
The Mountain Lions fall to 2-2 this season, while UAH improves to 3-1. Young Harris returns to action on Saturday (Mar. 2) in Hartsville, S.C. where they take on Coker University.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
Dylan Young scored four goals on seven SOG for the Mountain Lions.
David Friend led the Chargers with four goals on five SOG.
Dylan Wilbur recorded 11 saves for YHC.
The Chargers outshot the Mountain Lions 50 to 29.
YHC went 19-32 on faceoffs, but turned the ball over 26 times, compared to the Chargers 18 turnovers.
