Horse owners in the Hayesville area will have an opportunity to take advantage of discounted equine health services at the upcoming Spring Coggins Clinic on Saturday, March 1, 2025. Hosted by Whiskey River Large Animal Mobile Vet in partnership with Clay County Trails & Rails 4H, the event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 4032 Hwy 175, Hayesville, NC 28904—rain or shine.
A variety of essential services will be available, including:
Coggins Test – $25
Dental Float (includes sedation) – $160
Health Certificates (valid for 6 months) – $55
Regular vaccinations at discounted prices
The Coggins Test is a vital requirement for horse owners, as it detects equine infectious anemia (EIA) and is often necessary for traveling and competitions. Additionally, the clinic will offer routine vaccinations and dental care, helping ensure the well-being of local horses.
