On Wednesday March 19, 2025, Detectives with the Clay County Sheriff’s Office observed a white in color Chevrolet Trail Blazer park at the Chatuge recreational area and surveilled an unclothed male individual who was later identified as 79 year old Harrison Leslie Thorpe of Towns County, Georgia.
Harrison Thorpe remained in his vehicle and was observed masturbating. While he watched three women and three children that were enjoying an afternoon at the lake. After verifying Harrison’s actions, Detectives approached the male who was completely nude and took him into custody without incident. Thorpe was taken to the Clay County Detention Center where he was charged with three felony counts of indecent exposure and three misdemeanor counts of indecent exposure. Harrison Thorpe is currently being held in the Clay County Detention Center on a $225,000.00 secured bond.
