HHS Defends The Hive Against The Mustangs

After winning their season opener against Hiwassee Dam in convincing fashion, the varsity Lady Yellow Jackets were looking for two in a row as they welcomed Smoky Mountain to their home court on Tuesday, Aug. 13th. The Lady Mustangs were also coming off a win after taking down Highlands on Monday, Aug 12th.


The Lady Jackets continued their dominating ways against Smoky Mountain, securing their second 3-0 shut-out win in as many days.

Other action on the evening saw the JV Lady Jackets take the floor for the first time this season. While the first set was a competitive one, Hayesville was able make Jacket Nation proud with a 2-0 victory.

The middle school squad will join both high school teams on Monday, Aug. 19th to host the Franklin Panthers. Action begins at 4 p.m. with the middle school match.
