Summit Charter took an early lead, finishing the first quarter with an 8-6 advantage. However, Hayesville bounced back in the second quarter, outscoring their opponents to take a 19-16 lead into halftime. The Lady Jackets extended their lead to 34-25 by the end of the third quarter, setting the stage for an intense final period. Despite a strong push from Summit Charter in the fourth, Hayesville held on to claim the 43-38 victory.
Hayesville's offensive effort was led by Ava Shook, who scored 11 points, followed closely by Breanna Abrams and Emma Ashe, who each contributed 9 points.
