On Saturday, Sept. 14th, Hayesville runners made the short trip to Murphy for an early-morning cross country meet. The campus of MHS buzzed with dozens of runners and hundreds of spectators. It was the Hayesville Middle School boys team that gave the Yellow Jackets their highest finish, coming in second in their competition.
