The Community Clothing Ministry Distribution is gearing up for its annual spring event, scheduled for Friday, April 11, and Saturday, April 12, at Ledford’s Chapel Church in the Fellowship Hall. Now in its seventh year, this beloved community initiative will offer free spring and summer clothing to residents of all ages, including men, women, youth, and children.
The distribution will run from 8:00 a.m. to noon on both days, with organizers encouraging attendees to arrive early for the best selection. “Loads of free spring and summer clothes” will be available, providing an opportunity for families and individuals to refresh their wardrobes at no cost.
In addition to distributing clothing, the event will accept donations of new or clean, gently used items. Community members are invited to contribute clothes, shoes, hats, bags, and bedding to support the cause. Those planning to bring donations are asked to send a private message through Facebook to Lori Michael Allen in advance to coordinate drop-offs.
The event’s organizers expressed gratitude to the Hayesville community for their ongoing support, noting that the generosity of donors and volunteers has made this initiative a blessing for seven years running. The Community Clothing Ministry Distribution continues to serve as a vital resource, fostering a spirit of giving and togetherness in the area.
Ledford’s Chapel Church looks forward to welcoming the community to this two-day event of sharing and support. The church is located at 78 State Rd 1151 in Hayesville.
